I am admittedly a novice investor . When I look back in that 20/20 review mirror it is easy to see that I should have sold at point P and repurchased at point L . Unfortunately my foresight is nowhere near my hindsight  . I have learned this over time and time again . I am not a trader , I am an investor . All the ups and downs mean nothing to me . What matters is where my portfolio is week to week , month to month and quarter to quarter . Pick a good stock and stick to it . Have a thesis and stick to it . And when that works out ride that winner  . A smart guy once told me "the data is the data the math is the math, stick with your thesis"  It's nice not to look in the rear view mirror . Tell me you never look back
