HILLSDALE, Mich., March 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hillsdale College today announces that it has begun a national search for a head women's basketball coach.

The search comes after the departure of current head coach, Todd Mitmesser. Mitmesser coached the program for the past two seasons and had an overall record of 24-29. His contract has not been renewed for the 2017-2018 season.

Hillsdale College's Director of Athletics Don Brubacher said, "The women's basketball program is moving in a new direction. It is always difficult to make these decisions, but we feel this change is best for the program. We thank Todd Mitmesser for his work with the team and wish him the best."
